Learning to play any musical instrument provides an extraordinary opportunity to build self-esteem and to develop a love and excitement about the magical language music brings to everyones life. We aim to help students of all ages and abilities learn and develop skills in string instruments and literature, quickly and thoroughly. Our instructors are classically trained musicians and have up to 25 years experience in teaching violin and cello in individual or group lessons.A study has found that children who study a musical instrument for at least three years outperform other children even in non-musical skills. The young musicians were found to excel in tests measuring verbal ability and visual pattern completion.

Group Violin Lessons
Report
Group lessons are affordable, fun, and a great way to meet other students. Every class is one hour in length. Class space is limited to six students ensuring quality attention for each and every student during the lesson. Private Violin Lessons
Report
Private violin lessons are available throughout the school year and the summer. Lessons last 30, 45 or 60 minutes and are determined by the age, ability and what is best-suited for the student.

Katherine Kilcullen
Katherine Kilcullen initially began her career in music, and became involved in computing when writing programs was required in order to use them. In 1992, she founded Casco Computer Education Center and spent 15 years teaching computer programming and robotics to children in grades K-12 in the greater Portland area.
