When I came to Micah for lessons I had no experience playing any musical instrument at all. Micah made me feel at ease. He is non-judgmental and very professional. I learned so much in a short period of time.

Micah!! I wanted to thank you for ALL of your help so far in getting Sean all set up for lessons! You went above and beyond your call of duty and I truly appreciate that! He is stoked and I know I've made a wise decision choosing you as his teacher! Thank you again!

My 14 year old son had a immediate connection with Micah when he began lessons. He’s always been eager to attend his lessons, as well. Micah keeps the lessons fun and centers them around the type of music to which my son listens. Micah is organized and dependable. We’ve recommended him to friends of various ages.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Bo Burkes at Baton Rouge Guitar Lessons for two months. I was previously taking lessons at another location. Bo is a knowledgeable and patient teacher and my playing has progressed dramatically over these two months as compared to the previous 6 months of lessons I had. I also really enjoy the jam sessions on Saturdays. They're extremely helpful and fun. If you're looking to learn how to play the guitar or improve your playing, I highly recommend Baton Rouge guitar lessons.

I have enjoyed taking lessons from Micah and Wille. Both are very patient teaching inexperienced students like myself. I tried to teach myself but it wasn't until I started taking lessons that I really started to learn how to play. I would recommend them fro anyone who wants to learn how to play guitar.

I was looking for an instructor that was knowledgeable, patient and experience. I saw Micah on a video and it peaked my interest. I contacted Micah and started lessons. BEST decision I have made since I picked up a guitar. First lesson, after observing my playing, he said that we should work on my timing and gave me several exercises to work on. As soon as I started practicing I immediately saw the difference.

Each lesson is a step in becoming a guitar player. Also I like the one hour lessons. It gives us enough time to review and take the next step. If you are like I was, going in circles, I strongly suggest calling BR GUITAR you won't regret it! ~ Jerry Werner

During my search for a guitar teacher, I knew that patience was of the required attributes. I can be a slow learner when it comes to honing new skills, and a ton of patience is needed during the learning process. I was also looking for someone who was technical, experienced, and versatile in their guitar practice and instruction. My experience with. Baton Rouge Guitar Lessons has been fantastic! Micah fosters an inviting, and comfortable learning environment for his students.

In addition to the bi-weekly or weekly instruction, he also provides several online supplemental instruction videos on different aspects of guitar playing. These online videos are my favorite part of his program, because.
