My daughter has been taking Mr. Wilson's flute lesson for more than 3 years since she was 8, and he is one of the best music teachers I ever met (I have been taking lessons for my instruments from many teachers). My daughter had so much progress since then and now she can play high school level tunes as 5th grader. It is also wonderful to be able to listen to the older students beautifully playing advanced tunes at the recitals.

That is motivating my daughter so much lately. He is very patient, and absolutely knows how to teach young students so they can motivate themselves following the process at home and during the lessons. Learning music is about practice and the teacher in my opinion. I feel so lucky my daughter can take lessons from very experienced teacher.

Rigid old system and teaching methods. My child took lessons with a very strict flute teacher, no emapthy, no patience, she got to the point where she cried in his class, and he was just telling her she needs to keep on practicing. There are so many different methods out there that supports your child's and teaches him music at the same time. If you care about your child's musical creativity and self confidence, this is not the place. I'm a musician myself.

I have been studying clarinet at Bellevue School of Music for several years. I am a mature age student and working mother with a love of music. My teacher, Robert Wilson, understands that music is something I do for enjoyment and that I have limited practice time. He tailors the lessons to make sure I have fun while at the same time improving my technique.

I have also taken advantage of the school's flexible rescheduling policy. I have always found Robert Wilson to be pleasant, patient, helpful and an excellent teacher. I highly recommend this music school.

My son took lessons from Bellevue School of Music for several years. The qualifications of the teachers at BSM is very high. They are all accomplished and experienced professionals. Students are coached to a high level of success and more than a few win the WMEA All State music competitions, a highly competitive endeavor. I would highly recommend taking woodwind lessons from Robert Wilson for serious high school students who want to be leaders in their high school band programs.

My sons have been taking woodwind, guitar, and piano lessons with this school for 6 years. The owner teaches both my sons woodwind. He is so patient and kind to them that they look forward to each lesson with him. My older son has autism and the owner investigated special techniques for working with him. He has gone to great lengths to attend both kids' band/orchestra concerts.

He has made audition recordings for them and helped me download them for no extra fee. I have NEVER experienced this person as inflexible. I am technically-challenged. The owner has even helped me work with the online schedule on the computer he has in the front office. The system has been modified, lately, and I find it more user-friendly. I actually enjoy being able to make/change schedules online instead of having to play phone/email-tag.
