As a teacher, I'm proud to put all my varied experiences together into a teaching style that is effective and accessible. The foundation of my technique is 10 years of classically-based vocal study, but my 30+ years of pop/rock/jazz performance and my holistic studies at Naropa and of the Alexander Technique have equally informed my take on singing and teaching voice.

We specialize in violin, viola, and cello instruction. We have provided expert Suzuki Method instruction in Boulder Valley since 1982. Today, Boulder Suzuki Strings has more than 230 students and 10 teachers, making it the largest Suzuki program in the front range.

Jason Olson has been teaching students of all ages in the Longmont, Colorado area for over 22 years, and currently teaches a private studio of over 60 students per week. Children and adults alike benefit from and enjoy the personalized elements of his teaching style. Jason believes strongly that learning should be fun, and he works hard to ensure an enjoyable learning experience.
