Boulder Suzuki Strings has been an excellent place for my children to take music lessons. I would highly recommend their program. We have loved the combination of private and group lessons, regular group concerts and solo recitals, and the variety of classes they have been able to participate in including fiddle, orchestra, and chamber groups (all of which are included in their regular semester fees which are comparable to what you would pay any music teacher for weekly private lessons).

Being able to play music with friends on a regular basis has been a highly motivating experience for my children. Every one of the teachers are highly qualified, excellent teachers. Boulder Suzuki Strings is like a family and welcomes all ages and abilities. As a parent with very little formal music training myself I have truly appreciated the support that I as a parent continually receive around how to best help and support my children on their musical journey both in lessons, in daily home practice, in exposure to excellent music, in being included fully in the parent/teacher/child triangle of learning, and in being encouraged to ask my own questions throughout the process. The teachers are accessible and approachable, friendly, very encouraging and positive while maintaining a high level of excellence in their teaching.

This is a great program. Besides weekly private lessons, the school also provides group lessons, orchestra and chamber groups, spring and fall recitals, community concerts, and a biennial Costa Rica tour to enrich every student's music experience. My son has been with Boulder Suzuki Strings for almost ten years. He is not just learning how to play a musical instrument from his teachers; the skills he learned at Boulder Suzuki Strings have also had a positive impact on other aspects of his life.

Twinkle, twinkle, five stars! If your child is interested in learning a string instrument and you live anywhere near Boulder, this is the place to go. Boulder Suzuki Strings has provided my kids with consistently high-quality music instruction for the past six years. The teachers are passionate and committed, and group classes (usually twice a month) are very motivating.

The program has high expectations for the students, and it's amazing to see what they can accomplish. More than anything, it teaches kids valuable life lessons about what you can achieve if you work consistently towards a goal. I have seen firsthand how my kids have carried that work ethic over to their schoolwork.
