Music is life
Breen Music Lessons Every individual has his or her own goals that they want to accomplish on the instrument. Some want to learn it all (technique, music theory, etc.) while others would be happy if they could simply learn to play some of their favorite songs. I want you to enjoy picking up the guitar everyday! My goal as a teacher is to avoid any type of dogmatic "one size fits all" curriculum. I always like to know what music the student enjoys and build my lesson plans based on their tastes.

I am well versed in Music Theory and have studied proper technique for many years, please check out my website (BreenMusicLessons.com) for informative music articles, tutorial videos, and to contact me for my lesson rates.

Sweet Child O' Mine - GUITAR COVER
Jamming to the Guns n' Roses classic. I offer skype lessons as well if you're interested (Cbreen10101@gmail.com) For all the critics out there: I know I'm not playing the verse 'exactly right' but I like the way Sus2 chords sound during those sections :)

I discuss different ways to play the Minor Pentatonic & Blues Scale in a 'hybrid' approach. I also show you how to utilize 3-note per string shapes to create fast legato runs.

Knowledgeable, patient, flexible, easy to talk to, the ability to adapt and pivot based on the needs of the student. These are the qualities of a great teacher. I've been taking guitar lessons from Chris for nearly a year now and I have learned more from him in that short time than I had learned in the last 20 years. Easily the most value for money and time that I could have ever chosen. I would and have recommended him to anyone. It continues to be a great experience every time we sit down for a lesson.

My som has been taking lessons with Chris virtually during the pandemic and has grown so much in his skills. Chris is a true professional that connects with him, provides great guidance for him to get better, all while having some fun which makes it all enjoyable for my son. Thanks Chris!

You're not going to find a better guitar teacher. I've been taking guitar lessons for over 5 years with Chris via Skype. He's very very patient, flexible, encouraging, and tailors lessons to any skill set. He mixes practice techniques with songs, which he knows you'll be able to play, to advance your skills, while playing songs you like. I've progressed My ability to play songs way beyond what I thought was possible for me, only because of Chris. Take a lesson, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Chris. Scott, age 46, Arizona.

I have been taking lessons from Chris for 5 years. He is very open to learn and teach all styles of music. in turn, allowing me learn and play music I though i never would. His guidance in "the technology" of music is also greatly appreciated. The learning experience with Chris is top notch, never an issue with communication or punctuality. Always able to move around his busy schedule for the "adult" student. I want to thank Chris for allowing to find my "Soul Mustard" He is the best you can find Ron Frank Wayne NJ

Chris is an awesome teacher. I started out with no guitar background and I take lessons online via video chat. He was able to work with me and teach me all the basics, it was like he was in the same room. He adapts the lesson to each student and their learning style, while teaching the genre of music you want to learn. He is patient and makes the lessons fun. I would highly recommend Chris for lessons.

My son has been taking lessons with Chris for 2 years now, since he's 9 1/2. Chris really makes learning fun and Aidan and us just adore him. His gentle/kind, but knowledgeable approach keeps Aidan so interested and he loves to play and LOVES the stage and is confident while doing it. He has learned so much from Chris and we just love watching him play. Chris is patient and truly listens to the student and teaches what they love to hear. We highly recommend Chris!

Chris is an excellent guitar teacher and would highly recommend him to anyone. My son has been taking lessons with him for almost three years and its incredible how he took his guitar playing to the next level. He's reliable, patient and a greater teacher overall. My son looks foreward to his guitar lessons every week.
