Catfish John

Good food. I got the catfish basket, with fried catfish filets, French fries, coleslaw, pickled green tomatoes, a slice of onion and the best tartar sauce that I've had. Definitely a family owned business, very laid back. Fun pictures of local teams, throughout the years, on the wall. This is my 4th time coming with a friend. It's the kind of place that you come to to just have comfort food. They serve other items on their menu besides catfish. Pretty good.

I just stopped in I had never been there and needed a snack, they helped me with the directions and they were the kindest ladies! I grabbed two pieces of fish and hush puppies. I ate it in the car with nothing it was the best catfish I've had since I've been in Arkansas and that's awesome! If you're driving through Rogers in that part of town hit Catfish John's, it's worth the visit, definitely!

Recently dined at this well established eatery in Rogers, AR. I have not been here in around 20 years. We had a party of 8 with 2 children. It was 4:00 pm and they continued to run a lunch special for $9.99 and allowed us to order it. The catfish was thick and meaty, fried crisp in clean grease and very tasty. Fries were thick cut and delicious, tomato relish was wonderful and the beans were spot on perfect.

As a cole slaw lover I wish there was a little more seasoning in this side but not a deterrent from all the wonderful food we partook of. Aside from the food the service was above and beyond excellent. Drinks were filled quickly, we were asked if we needed anything and our requests were filled immediately and with a friendly attitude. I have been wanting to try this place again and I'm glad I did.

There's a reason they have been there for decades.good food and good service. Large portions which gave us enough to take home for a second meal. Give it a try if you like fried catfish with all the fixings. One of the best places around and a local favorite.

Price was probably a little higher than I expected but the food was real good. Got the dinner platter. The wait staff that fills drinks isn't super attentive, but we weren't in a huge hurry so I guess it didn't bother us much. Just a few small touches and this would be a 5. Otherwise, we'd visit again

First visit to Catfish John's and it was great. The food was delicious, plentiful and served fast. The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. We will visit again when in the area.

I have been here a few times since mowing to Rogers and is the only catfish restaurant that I know about in the area. The place is full of regulars as everyone knows everyone. The food is ordered at the register and is delivered very quickly. The fish is hot and seasoned very well. It is tender and tasty. the fries are good as well as the hushpuppies. Service is very friendly and timely. The is a very nice, clean, local restaurant to enjoy.

Nice place for a fish dinner. The portions were amazing! Good food & friendly staff. The corn nuggets are a must try!

NWA institution. Always huge portions. Great prices. Family friendly. A small catfish dinner is enough for 2 meals and a large is 3 single meals for me. Nice batter on the fish. Wish they still did baked potatoes but the seasoned fries are good. Plus always get extra tomato relish. You need the sweet vinegar to cut the fried richness.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST TRY. Best fried catfish and hushpuppies I have had. The fish was crispy and flavorful on the outside and flaky and moist on the inside. Photo is of the lunch special, cost $8.95 per. Will definitely be back.

This is the best catfish in Northwest Arkansas. Good price and excellent food. The staff are super friendly. Highly recommended we been here many times and we loved the food.
