The Conservatory of Piano was founded in 1971 to provide a professional situation in which piano teachers could concentrate solely on what they are trained to do, which is to provide consistently excellent piano instruction. This environment guarantees a quality of piano education previously unheard of in central Ohio.Our faculty is comprised entirely of graduates of accredited schools of music and universities with emphases in music, music education or early childhood development. In addition, our faculty receive continued training through The Conservatory of Piano in our proven teaching methods. This creates a diverse faculty, boasting numerous doctoral and masters degrees from throughout the world, with specialists in every area of piano pedagogy, from early childhood training through adult instruction.

Sampler Classes
Report
Sampler, which is offered frequently throughout the year, consists of six weekly one-hour group classes. This unique introductory program provides the opportunity for children to experience piano lessons in a fun and exciting atmosphere with other students of the same age. This "sample" of proper piano lessons helps parents make the important decision to continue with long-term lessons.
Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for students of any age and level. The Conservatory of Piano has proven successful with students who begin at The Conservatory, as well as with students who transfer from other piano lesson situations. Students receive a weekly half-hour lesson with a teacher professionally trained in the art of piano education. Every student is different and, though there is a standard core curriculum, each lesson is geared to each student's individual needs and abilities.

We've been going to the Conservatory of Piano for 4 years and have been thrilled with our daughter's progress. She has become very adept at piano in just a short amount of time under their instruction. The teachers are very kind and skilled at working with kids both remotely and in-person. We are so glad we found the Conservatory of Piano.

My 5 year old has been taking classes with Ms. Ross for almost 1 year now. Ms. Ross has been an excellent teacher and I appreciate her fun yet focused style of teaching. We will definitely continue with Ms. Ross and appreciate her very much as an instructor. My daughter can read musical notes, play with her left and right hand, and genuinely loves coming to her weekly lessons.
We made the investment to buy her a full-sized piano for her bedroom because we think that with Ms. Ross, our daughter can truly become a talented piano player. I highly recommend Ms. Ross as a teacher!

My three children all started here at age 3 or 4 and have continued or will continue through the end of high school. We have had only good teaching encounters and we have had many different teachers here. I even started lessons a few years ago. It has been fun. They were quick to accommodate online teaching through Covid and have gone back to in person teaching which I think is real important for music lessons. They still allow for some remote learning for people interested in that option. I appreciate their flexibility and professionalism.

After the passing of my wife six years ago I stopped even listening to music even though I had played guitar for over 20 years. Ms. Ross has rekindled my love for music! She is very knowledgeable and tailors my lessons only after carefully analyzing my performances. She chooses lesson books and songs according to my likes and abilities. Most importantly, she has renewed my enthusiasm for jazz and classical music. She is the best teacher I've ever had. Thank you!

Mrs. Ross has been a great teacher. She makes it enjoyable and fun. She really breaks down each part that I am learning to meet me where I am and make it related to real life so it is easy to retain. With her 30 years of experience I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else. Thank you Conservatory of piano for giving me such great experience while learning piano as an adult.

My two sons have been studying at the Conservatory of Piano for a year and 1/2. They love their teachers and enjoy playing the piano. They have made continued progress with their music. I enjoy the convenient location and the focus on piano entirely. I have recommended the Conservatory of Piano to other perspective students. I also know other parents whose children study at a different location and are pleased with the instruction.
The studio has fun, relaxed opportunities to perform that my children really enjoy throughout the year in addition to a formal recital. It is a lovely school that I would recommend.

Both of my children started taking lessons at The Conservatory of Piano when they were 3 years old. They are now 14 and 11 and I couldn't ask for a better musical learning experience for my kids. The teachers get to know the children and are able to cater their teaching to each child's strengths and learning style. My kids are learning music theory not learning to read and play notes on a page. I highly recommend piano lessons at The Conservatory of Piano!

I never learned to play an instrument until I started lessons at the conservatory of Piano. I have learned to play way better than I expected. My daughters also have taken lessons here. My oldest has finished up and plays for herself and my youngest is very dedicated and is playing some very challenging pieces. The staff fully supports her and helps her get it done.
