At Elevate Rock School lessons are taken to a whole new level. We've found that students are more motivated and engaged during lessons when they share the experience with a peer. Two students in a core lesson open up a myriad of musical possibilities and teaching moments that just aren't otherwise possible. Students are matched by age, ability and chosen instrument.During the rock band session students actually form a group with other members from Elevate and practice together as a real band would. They will learn the art of live performance and can even choose their band name. They take the songs they've been working on in the core lesson and now get to hear the parts come together on a real live stage. Full sound production is provided to complete the live performance experience. This is a structured lesson with a teacher.

Karissa Flieth
Is originally from Wahpeton. She currently lives in West Fargo with her husband Dan, children Austin and Sophia, and dog Peanut. Karissa started teaching private piano and voice lessons in 2000 while continuing her education. She started her music education with a vocal emphasis at UND in 1997 and transferred to NDSU in 2001.Karissa will also be finishing a B.S in Early Childhood Education in December 2012 from Mayville State University.
Steve Stine
Began playing guitar at the age of 13. He was obsessed with music of the 60's and 70's, but the moment he saw KISS, he wanted to be Ace Frehley. Bands like The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Rush, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and countless others in the early 80's compelled me him commit his life to the study, performance, and instruction of music.
Shane Ochsner
Grew up in a family who has embraced music for generations. He received his first drum kit at the age of 3 and never looked back.He began writing music and moving around to other instruments; starting bass and guitar around age 12. Since then, he has toured the United States, Canada, and Europe, was signed to Facedown Records of Fallbrook, CA and released 3 studio albums distributed world wide.

My daughter has been a part of Elevate Rock School for the last 5 years. We absolutley love being a part of this organization. As a child with special needs, they have treated her no different than any other child that walks through the door. They worked with her and made adaptations as needed. I highly recommend!

Elevate has been a great program for our son! We started with the Lil Peeps class which is awesome because he got exposure to all different instruments before deciding which he liked the best. We eventually transitioned to drum lessons now and he's still loving it! I enjoy seeing the progress he's making with each years concert. Everyone there is also so great to work with! Highly recommend!

My children have been students at Elevate since 10/2018. The benefits for both due to their experiences at Elevate is something you can't put a price on. My boy has Aspbergers and he's found a space where he is not only accepted, but shines in his own light. My daughter has depression and has experienced many dark times. Since Elevate, she has found a sense of confidence and self worth.
The teachers and administration goes above and beyond in every interaction. It is the focal point and highlight of the week for both children. The environment is fun, cool and supportive.

Elevate Rock School made piano lessons fun! It so much more fun for my daughter to learn how to play piano with songs from Imagine Dragons or Sia than it is to learn to play with Mary Had a Little Lamb! The concerts are so much fun and a huge self esteem booster! You will not regret having your child at Elevate Rock School.

Unsure of what to expect, our son did the 1/2 hour free lesson in drums. We were blown away by Bryce's knowledge and energy! I knew within minutes Elevate was the place to be. Several months later our son made the school Talent Show playing drums, the same event he failed to make each year with great disappointment. He rocked the school that day and gained much needed self confidence. 5 stars is not enough for Bryce and the staff at Elevate! Keep up the great work!

We have been with Elevate for about a year now and the whole staff is incredibly nice, talented, caring and helpful. Their love of music and teaching it is palpable. My son LOVES it here and it has given him more overall confidence even beyond the band room. The concerts are so fun and make my shy guy come out of his shell and rock! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Both my son and daughter have been going to Elevate since they opened, my son on drums and my daughter in Lil Peeps. I can honestly say that they love their experience. They are learning so much about music, and having fun while they learn! They are making friends in their band, growing in confidence and gaining valuable musical knowledge. Our family is so thankful this amazing music school!

This place ROCKS! Denise, the owner, is super nice, as well as the other staff- they are super great with the kids! If your child has any interest in playing or singing, this is the place to be! We literally just signed up a couple weeks ago, and my kids absolutely love it here! Not only do they learn, but they have a blast while doing it.

Elevate Rock School is a must for kids of any age with an interest in music. Owners and instructors are super friendly and positive with the kids. The location is a new, safe and fun with a music studio type feel to it. They have good equipment on hand that the kids learn with. One week with instructor the following week with a band. Fun concept that my son enjoys. I'd recommend stopping by to say hello to check it out.

Absolutely amazing place for kids and teenagers to be inspired and play music. My 5 yr old loves the Lil' Peeps class and has explored keyboard, drums, guitar, and bass guitar and learned so much already! My 10 year old takes drums and loves the core lessons one week and the playing in a real band with her peers the following week. She is excited to play and practice and excited to be playing songs from the radio. Can't recommend this place enough.

We LOVE Elevate! Great instructors and awesome experiences! Our daughter has been at Elevate for almost 4 years and has grown leaps and bounds in that time. Unsure about which instrument she wanted to play, Bryce gave her a taste of everything to help her decide what she'd be passionate about. Years later she takes both vocals and keys and loves music! She learns from experienced performing musicians and has so many fun experiences with her rock band. A great concept for teaching music to our kiddos!
