Tomilee Deatherage, the director of Elk Grove School of Music, has been teaching music for more than 16 years. She enjoys utilizing a variety of instructional methods in both private and group settings Tomilee designed a unique studio in 1999, which incorporates technology to further enhance her students theory and ear training. Her style of piano instruction includes not only teaching by note but the use of a personally developed method by which she works with students on playing songs by ear. Tomilee continues to regularly attend conventions, workshops, concerts, and training seminars to keep her school current with technology and materials.
