Founded and owned by Ligia Pop, the Fun Piano Lessons studio offers private piano lessons in the North Bethesda and Rockville area. We don't believe in the slow, stagnant teaching that will have you playing the same tired exercises and staying at the same level for months on end. We will sit down with you and identify your goals, then set a lesson plan to match those goals and challenge you to visibly improve your piano playing.

The studio has 3 teachers, each one is classically trained, each with over a decade of professional musical education and experience. Currently our studio has more than 100 students ranging in age from children as young as 3 and a half year to senior citizens.

Ligia

Ligia started to teach children how to play the piano in 1995, in Romania. She has been a piano teacher in North Bethesda, MD since 2004 until 2009, and she has taught over 200 students here in the United States. Her experience and education – gained from 18 years of musical training – will benefit your piano training in ways that you will start to notice right from the first lesson

Andrea

She is a wonderful teacher who has come to the United States from Brazil, where she studied piano theory and performance for 15 years and taught for more than a decade as well. She has been a piano teacher in the United States since 2005, and she has taught over 100 students here in the USA.

She is able to recognize my strengths and weaknesses – weekly – and adjust her lesson to accommodate my speed.
