Chris Arellano walked me through the purchase of my first guitar, and made it easier than I expected. Even though older than the average beginner, he was not judgmental, only helpful. Have had the guitar for a week now and I'm loving it! Thanks Chris!

I was referred to Gracewinds by a fellow on a Facebook guitar page. He arranged for Chris Arellano to contact me. Chris did an excellent job of telling me about the product and exactly what the timeline would be for my purchase. Chris was very patient as we struggled through a problem using my credit card which was due to the automatic security measures that the credit card company has in place.

I am just so pleased with the whole purchase. The price was very competitive and my Taylor PS10ce is everything I hoped it would be. I will definitely consider calling Chris at Graceland when I'm in the market for a high end guitar in the future. Shipping through UPS was exactly as Chris explained that it would be. He did an excellent job of communicating both via email and the telephone. I'm totally pleased!

Just bought a Cube 80GX amp at Gracewinds Music. Great amp, BTW, but I'm writing to tell y'all what an amazing shopping experience it was. I live in Eugene, and couldn't find the model I wanted, so we called around and found it at Gracewinds in Corvallis. Never been in the shop before, but the gal who answered the phone, was super nice and totally made my day; no exaggeration. 1.

Set the amp aside for me until I could get there. 2. Knocked $20. off the price to pay for my gas driving there! 3. Wrote down the $50. rebate info for me and stuck it to the amp Wow, that's the way customer service ought to be; hey, life in general too maybe. : Thanks!

Came into Gracewinds to look at electric keyboards. Jay was very kind and helpful and also checked on giving me the best pricing available. I appreciated the thoughtful and friendly assistance and how attentive he was on a busy Saturday. Gracewinds had a very nice selection and good customer service. Thank you.

It's a rare thing to find so friendly, accommodating and capable a company -- especially in the music business. To date, they've given me exemplary service and prices on two Taylor guitars. I've been a pro for over 45 years, traveled and purchased all over the planet, and these guys stand out heads and shoulders above the rest Brick & Mortar or Internet-Only.

They go the extra hours and miles to make it happen. Thank you, Aaron, for your insight on the 324 vs 326, and for helping me find and acquire The One! EDIT/Update: Gracewinds has proven such an awesome company that I came to work with them!

Fascinating customer service, always helpful and the employees are more than willing to help a customer out to the best of their abilities when it comes to making a decision. If you are looking for help with guitar pedals, make sure to talk to Nate there. He has been extremely helpful with all of my pedal choices for the past 2 years and I can't say enough good things about his suggestions and advice.

Let me just say that I LOVE this music store and that Jay Boekeloo is AWESOME! I am a pastor and as such am not rich by an means. In the past I would usually do research online, find the absolutely best deal possible, and then order the things I am looking for online. Well, not any more! I visited Gracewinds to physically lay my hands on a Korg keyboard that I was interested in.

I came into the store knowing the best internet prices out there and also a good deal of information on the keyboard itself. Jay was a wealth of knowledge and made sure that any deal I had found on the internet was going to pale in comparison to the service and pricing that he would give me. Both of those things came absolutely true as I walked out with everything I was looking for and more while paying less then I could have gotten anywhere else. Jay simply refused to be beat by any other competitor and treated me as if my business was more important to him then making big profits. Needless to say I have been back to this store many times.

One thing I truly appreciate about Jay (besides the great deals) is that if he doesn't know something, he will find out for me. If there is someone else in the store with more knowledge about something then he will refer me to them but then stay active to make sure I got the information I was looking for and the best deal possible. I have spent a lot of money here!

I am fully convinced that I have also SAVED a lot of money here too and in the end isn't that what we all want to do when purchasing something! If you are looking for a great music store that will take good care of you and your instruments then stop on in and tell Jay that Pastor Jeremy sent you;)

Nice clean store, but horrible customer service. I was mulling around the electric guitars, and I had a few questions I wanted to ask and I also wanted to look at a few American Strats behind the counter. I was seriously considering buying a new guitar, so it's not like I wasn't a serious customer. I'm Asian-American and nobody would help me. I bring race into this because another customer, a white guy, starts looking at guitar strings and a store representative (I'll call him Joe from now on, although I don't know his actual name) came right over and started helping him.

I kept looking at the guitars waiting patiently, assuming Joe probably didn't notice who came in first, but then after the white guy bought his strings and left, Joe ignored me further, and went into his office. I started picking up guitars and looking about for roughly 20 minutes with nobody trying to help me. Nobody was at the front counter, so I went to the office door Joe went through, and Joe was sitting there talking to another store employee.

I didn't want to interrupt so I waited patiently for one of them to acknowledge me. Both of them just kept bitching about their co-workers and nobody asked me if they could do anything for me. Finally I had about enough, and so I said, "Great customer service around here." and walked out. As I walked out, Joe responded with, "What? Yeah whatever, bye." 0/10.

Would not recommend. Actually I would highly encourage every single person I know to never go there regardless of circumstances. I'd also like to mention that a friend of mine had a similar experience. He went in, wanted to buy an instrument, and nobody would help him so he left and bought one elsewhere. Clearly this store has no intention of selling instruments.

I am a Native Oregonian, but relatively new to Corvallis. All the service I have received at Gracewinds, from all the Sales people and Musicians has been totally awesome. I would never go anywhere else. So very very happy with my instruments. The best at great prices. All the accessories, and music for both too, as well as very knowledgeable on local teachers too. Very Very Pleased with my purchases.

I've shopped at Gracewinds for over 20 years. It's a great, family-owned business with excellent selection and service. Prices are totally competitive with the web stores. They cover all kinds of gear, from rock band to orchestral, and they do lessons and rentals. Gracewinds is a valuable part of the Corvallis music scene and a fine place to shop.
