Great Southern Music Great Southern Music is the music store that Tom Llinas has wanted to open in Gainesville for well over 30 years. This great adventure began when Tom and Robin were married on November 30, 1991, right across the street from Ben Griffin Stadium. Some of you will remember that day as the the famous Gator/Seminole face off. At that time, Tom owned Classical Brass & Guitars in Orlando while Robin managed a restaurant called Splash.

Our music studios are comfortably large (9 x 12) rooms that are equipped with digital pianos, cd/recording stereos, dry-erase boards, comfortable chairs, music stands, mirrors, etc. We even have a drum studio as well as a very large group lesson/ensemble practice/recital room. We would love for you to come by and meet our family and see our new store. Its a place where we hope you will stay and play awhile!

My daughter takes lessons from Ron and he is a great instructor! Ron is a results driven music professor who takes the time and energy to make sure my daughter is learning her notes and strings effectively. Not to mention his time management skills are always on point. The only complaint I have with this place is the size of their music rooms. With all the money that I and everyone is paying I'm pretty sure they can afford to upgrade a little, or a lot!
