Sarah Rodger
Sarah Rodger
Guitar And String Instructor, (812) 234-7990
Sarah Rodger is a 2012 graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Music. While at Indiana State University, she had many valuable experiences, including playing for the ISU Big Band and jazz combos.

Since relocating to Terre Haute in 2010, she has played for the Crossroads Repertory Theater, various cover bands, small group jazz ensembles, big bands, and Pinball Heroes, for which she writes the material. Her wide range of musical experience gives her a broad understanding of the guitar and its place in popular, rock, folk, jazz, and classical settings, among others.

She has taught private guitar lessons for nearly a decade, and is continually working to improve her pedagogical strategies. Learning a few basics on guitar can go a long way towards personal enjoyment or its use as an accompaniment instrument. But for the student who wants to delve deeper, the opportunities are nearly limitless. Guiding students towards musical literacy enables them to continue to learn and grow for the rest of their lives.
