I am a guitar teacher, composer, and performer located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Professionally, I have recorded several albums of my own and others arrangements, and maintain both traditional and Suzuki method guitar studios. In addition to my teaching, I play out in the community as part of a Fort Collins based guitar quartet, as well as a local jazz duo.
Ive been teaching violin in Fort Collins for several years now. I moved to Fort Collins to be closer to my grandchildren. Prior to that, for 25 years I worked in various capacities with the Suzuki Plus program of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada.

The focus is on reaching one's full potential with ease and freedom in playing, learned in an environment that is supportive and non judgmental.
Jason Olson has been teaching students of all ages in the Longmont, Colorado area for over 22 years, and currently teaches a private studio of over 60 students per week. Children and adults alike benefit from and enjoy the personalized elements of his teaching style. Jason believes strongly that learning should be fun, and he works hard to ensure an enjoyable learning experience.
We enjoy teaching piano to students of all ages and all levels. Our students can blossom into advanced pianists without switching studios. There is a frequent misconception that only rudimentary musical skills are necessary to teach young beginners. We, however, feel that only highly skilled musicians should teach young students to play.
