With a focus on developing serious students, LaTulippe Piano Studio's mission is to provide students with tools to understand, interpret, and appreciate music.Customized lesson formats tailor to each child's needs, age, and learning style. Methods and teaching paces are chosen to meet individual skills and abilities. While a classical foundation is utilized, non-classical content (i.e. jazz, ragtime, and sacred) is incorporated.

Yuka LaTulippe
Yuka LaTulippe began formal piano studies in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of four. At the age of five, she participated in her first National Federation of Music Clubs Solo Festival and scored a Superior rating. Following her first success in an adjudicated event, Yuka won first place at the Baton Rouge Piano Rally – her first competition – at the age of six.

My son has been receiving instruction from this studio for roughly half a year, and I can honestly say that the instruction he has received and progress he has made have FAR exceeded my expectations. After a few months my son was reading music, playing music beautifully on the piano, and even making up his own music and writing the music notes down himself! I look forward to continuing with this studio for many more years and am grateful to have found a studio that provides a wonderful musical education. I highly recommend!

My daughter has been a piano student of Ms. Yuka's for almost 7 years. Ms. Yuka has guided us through many stages and struggles that come along with a young child practicing piano. My daughter is now in middle school and loves and appreciates music and playing piano. Ms. Yuka is awesome and patient with both students and parents;. I highly recommend Ms. Yuka if you are looking for a true professional and someone who takes pride in their teaching.

My daughter is enjoying piano and I am pleased with her progress so far. Ms LaTulippe is very thorough. She makes the classes enjoyable while being detailed. I highly recommend her. A good teacher from the start makes a huge difference! She has infinite patience and goes beyond what you would expect in terms of teaching. We are happy to have found such a dedicated and talented teacher!

My daughter has been taking lessons with Ms. Yuka for 8 years. Yuka is an extremely talented pianist with very effective teaching methods. Not only has my daughter learned great techniques, but she has also instilled in her a great love and appreciation for music. She is extremely professional, yet genuinely kind. She devotes her time to help my daughter completely understand each piece to the fullest. I just love and appreciate how she has shaped and molded my daughter into a great piano player. My daughter, 7 year old, followed Ms Yuka for a year now. She has made tremendous improvement in this time and grew more confidence in playing. Ms Yuka is a professional and patient piano teacher. She balances her teaching in areas of techniques, music, and theory. At times, she will duet with students and make the lesson a really fun time. For young students, she is nice but firm.
My daughter loves to go to her piano lesson and has no problem to practice and complete the homework. I m happy to see her progress and thankful for having Ms Yuka be her piano teacher.

Yuka is a phenomenal piano teacher. She takes the time to build her students' foundational piano skills. For as long as I have been taking lessons from her, she has equipped me with confidence and a newfound joy for playing the piano! I would fully recommend her to anyone who wants to learn the piano.

Our experience with Yuka has been great! My six-year-old daughter loves working with her and has made very good progress in the time we have been with her. Aside from being highly trained and an exceptional pianist, I really appreciate her natural teaching ability and her patience and enthusiasm with my daughter. I know my kid is in good hands with Yuka, and as far as piano teachers go, I don't think we could do better. For any parent seeking quality piano lessons for their child, I definitely recommend Yuka.
