I believe strongly that the best, deepest, and most lasting work is achieved with 2 lessons of 45 minutes each week. If you are constrained by your budget or time, please consider taking a one hour lesson every week.Private lessons are available for students, both beginning and transfers from other teachers, of any age or level. Students will receive a weekly one-on-one lesson covering of all aspects of a piano/musical education. The lessons will include Music Theory, Piano Technique, and Performance Coaching. Although every student is different, the standard piano curriculum I teach is based on the proficiency levels set by the California Music Teachers Association. Each lesson is adapted to each individual students needs and musical aptitude.

Lilia Pershina
At the age of 16, Lilia qualified to attend the Kuznetsk Music Specialty College where she studied piano under Marina Mamikonova and Vera Gusarova. Although the Piano was her major instrument, many other musical subjects like: Concert Master, Harmony, Piano Ensemble, Methods of Teaching Piano, Chamber Ensemble, Instrument Studies and Analysis of Musical Composition were also completed.

We're so lucky to have Ms. Lilia as our child's first piano teacher. She's awesome! She's strict when needed, but she's also super nice and loves kids. She spends extra time to help our child understand everything, which is fantastic.
Our child always looks forward to lessons because she makes them fun. She plays all kinds of cool music and helps our kid get better. We're glad we found her!

I feel lucky to have found Lilia on my first try after moving during the pandemic from NY to CA. As an adult piano student, she has helped me towards my goals of having nice pieces to perform on demand, expanding my limited knowledge of theory and just appreciating my time practicing. She uses direct instruction, workbooks and has shared some very useful videos of both performances and practice techniques.
Her studio is in a lovely, private location and all of her dealings are very professional. She works with you on makeups and vacations. Overall, she is my dream piano teacher!

Mrs Lilia is a fantastic classical piano teacher. I took lessons for about 2 months as an adult student before the pandemic. In that short amount of time she was able to teach me how to read and undertsand sheet music and play to a metronome. I learned more with her in those two months than I was able to teach myself with online courses in over year. Highly recommend!

Mrs. Lilia Pershina is the most dedicated piano teacher I have seen. We are so lucky to have found her since last year. She has been very patient and consistent in correcting my son's old bad habits from previous years. My son loves learning with her and has been impressed with her piano technical skills that she demonstrated to him in every lesson until he can do it. He also loves to practice more. She is a great teacher that pushes her students to the best of their abilities.
