Best Instruction for Those Willing to Work
by Linda from Millville on May 22, 2020
This review is based upon my experience with multiple violinists. These lessons are the best for anyone motivated and willing to work hard. You will not be coddled. The emphasis is on discipline, proper intonation, technique and knowledge of basic theory. Be prepared to develop all major scales, though you are offered a variety of scale methods. You will use etudes as proper foundation for technique, again, a wide range for different tastes. You will be schooled in meter and prepared in every way to join an orchestra or ensemble. Your musical preferences are always taken into account so you will not be forced to play pieces you don't like. Your teachers are performing violinists/violists, not secondary school music teachers. Lesson cost is reasonable.
