Main Street Music Studios Main Street Music Studios is a full-service music instruction and recording facility located in the heart of downtown Bangor, Maine. Our music lessons are available for ages 5-105 in 10+ instruments. All of our instructors are experienced, working musicians with their own private instruction rooms. Our music classes and events serve students and the public all across Maine and are designed to help you realize your creative ideas and vision.

Each instructor teaches from their own private, insulated teaching room to emphasize a focus on learning. Our instructors work with students ages 1-105 and are available at many different times during the day and the week.

Andrew Teaches Drum Lessons of all styles of music which includes sight reading, fills & set ups, soloing/improvising, groove & feel, time signatures, independence, and overall versatility and musicality on the drum set.

Bass Lessons provided by Brad O’Brien, accomplished recorded bassist regularly performing both solo and ensemble. Brad has 18 years of performance and teaching experience, with great proficiency in Funk, Folk, Rock, Pop, Slap and Tap styles. Also skilled in Jazz, Latin, Punk, Ska and Reggae.

Molly Webster is a local vocal talent hailing originally from Patten, ME. Completing her studies at The University of Maine, she received two undergraduate degrees; BME – Music Education, as well as BMP – Vocal Performance. She then went on to receive her MM in Choral Conducting in May of 2010.

Lanissa Nadeau has been teaching both in public schools and privately for the past 18 years, the last fourteen in the Brewer School system. She graduated from the University of Maine in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a clarinet concentration. While at UM she played in many Ensembles and was the Assistant Conductor for the Concert Band.

It all began as a three year old dragging an antique cornet around the house and honking away. Brian Nadeau began playing trumpet in jazz combos and big bands as a performer and soloist at age seven. His first gig was with famed trombonist Don Doane at the Bridgeway Restaurant in South Portland.

Andrew is great with kids! I have a 4 year old who loves playing the drums. highly recommended!

The teachers are amazing and help you every way they can. They do lessons. And they have a beautiful recoding spot. We're they have done recording for pentatonix and National Geographic.

I love this place! They helped me prepare for my concerts and for my jazz festival! With their help, I went from 4th trombone to 1st trombone in only a year!

State of the art equipment, talented, experienced and diverse instructor's. My 13 year old son has taken piano lessons from Lanissa for a year now and he LOVES his time with her!
