We are a family-owned full-line band and orchestra store in Topeka, Ks. We carry all major brands including the new P. Mauriat and Eastman saxophones. Our focus is on great customer service, fair prices and supporting our school music programs.

Manning Music is proud of its instrument repair and custom shop with five full-time certified technicians. We also host more than 23 outstanding private music instructors covering just about every instrument. We are open 9 am - 8 pm Mon - Thurs., 9 am - 6 pm Fri and 9 am - 5 pm Sat.

Manning Music offers studio facilities and more than 20 private instructors. Private lessons are a great way for students to learn at their own pace. Private instruction affords students personal attention that they might not normally get in the band room. It also gives students the opportunity to ask questions about their instrument, music, technique and performance. Lessons can be scheduled in-store and are now paid directly to Manning Music.

Samantha Soldani

Samantha Soldani has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Washburn University and plays in the Kansas Army National Guard 35th ID Band. She teaches general music at Silver Lake Elementary School.

Connie Roth

Connie Roth has a Master's Degree in Music Education and Piano Performance from Emporia State University. She has taught private lessons for more than 20 years.

Chris Roth

Chris Roth graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Music Performance. He attended Graduates School at the University of Tennessee where he obtained his Masters in Music Performance. He has studied flute under Dr. Rebecca Meador and Shelly Binder.

Jerry Boster

Jerry Boster is a band director with the Topeka school district and is a member of Kings of Swing. He has a Master's Degree in Music Education.

We had a great experience with Manning Music when we brought in a 40 year old, admittedly neglected trumpet in for cleaning and repair. The cost to refurbish it was incredibly reasonable, and the turnaround time was really quick! Thanks so much for bringing life to that beautiful old trumpet again!

They are super knowledgeable and did a great job servicing my sons tenor saxophone. It literally sounds sooooo much better. Manning music has helped my children in ways no other Music Store in Topeka could. They have allowed me rent to own for violins and drums for my kids. They have instructed us on getting scholarships for free lessons and have treated us with kindness and respect. They have the highest quality of instruments and the best customer service I have ever experienced. They donate to local schools when kids cannot afford instruments or trips to play outside the state. I am impressed with the store and their professionalism.
