Your voice says a lot about you. How many times have you spoken with someone on the phone and made a mental image of what you perceived they will look like based on the sound of their voice. Then when you meet them, they are nothing like they sound. Our voices are a reflection of our personalities, spirits, and character. The more vocal skill and awareness you develop, the more effectively you can use your voice to project who you are.Incorporating both traditional and contemporary vocal mechanics and techniques, you will learn proper care of the voice and vocal production. We will concentrate on developing personal style as opposed to mimicking other vocalists. Musicianship and performance will also be addressed. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student, each lesson will be tailor made to your specific goals and needs.

Karen Crowell
Karen Crowell has been teaching, singing, and performing for over 30 years. She has performed with numerous groups including the Friendship Ambassadors, Mid Americans, Serendipity Singers, and Meadow Brook Estate. She has performed at theme parks and participated in community theaters. Karen has been a clinician for the University of WI -Green Bay Swing Choir Clinics, taught mini courses at University WI - Madison and worked as a choreographer and music director for various high schools and churches.

Karen was a member of my group, the Serendipity Singers. During that time, I found her easy to work with while maintaining the highest professional standards. She is the type of performer who “gives her all” to each show and strives to make each rehearsal and performance better than the one before. I feel she would be an asset to any organization.
