Private Lessons
Report
Private lessons are offered on most popular instruments and voice. Private one-on-one instruction allows students to progress at their own pace and gain a thorough understanding of musical techniques. Students can begin private lessons as young as 5 years old, and start any time of the year. Our music teachers, all from the Topeka area, teach a variety of styles. View the schedule/fee page to see which times and days are available.
Guitar Classes
Report
Learn in a fun group of four to eight students. Learn how to play chords, follow lead sheets, read tablature, and sing and play while learning lots of your favorite songs. Classes are 50 minutes. Check scheduling availability.
Vocal/Theatre Classes
Report
This class is designed for four or five students. Each one is assigned separate songs from various musicals. After teaching the necessary vocal skills in the group lesson format, the instructor then designs a script for the students to perform in conjunction with their vocal pieces. The students can then perform at the semester-end recital.

My daughter is very fortunate to have a place as a piano student at Midwest Musical Arts. We have discovered this to be a great place to obtain a Topeka music education. Her teacher presents her with challenges in music and provides excellent support in her progress.

My son Blaine so enjoys taking his piano lessons at Midwest Music Center. He feels very relaxed and welcome and the environment is condusive to his music studies. We’ve have had in-home lessons and experience the related distractions and background noise.
