My name is Nate Donnis. I am a full time musician with over 10 years of professional experience in the music industry and 4 years teaching music in Carlsbad. I have extensive experience in songwriting and playing various styles of guitar based music. My resume includes playing many professional venues in San Diego including: Anthology, The Hilton Hotel, The Belly Up, Pala Casino and many others. My music has been played frequently on Pandora Radio, been placed in a major European T.V called Skins, SONY, HGTV, MTV, and various t.v shows throughout the world.I offer 45 minute lessons at my home studio on a weekly basis at a rate of $40 per lesson. I offer 45 minute lessons in your home (within a 10 mile radius) on a weekly basis at $50 per lesson.I also offer songwriting lessons at my home $60 per lesson and at your home at $70 per lesson (within a ten mile radius).

Nate Donnis has so much to offer as a teacher! He's a great musicianwho never ceases to amaze me with his musical talents and his love forall types of music. I've played the guitar for a while and wanted a teacher who could teach me more of what I heard on the radio, not justchords and theory - although he worked with me on that too. He has beenable to teach me every song I've taken to him right off the recording!I'm grateful to Nate for his patience and abilities. I'd recommend himto anyone, from true beginner to someone wanting to advance the skillsthey have already.

After taking lessons for over a year with Nate, I have learned a lot and have grown as a guitar player. Nate is easy going and a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. He is a skilled and talented guitar player and explains and demonstrates concepts in a clear and easy to understand way. He can teach different styles of music and he makes it a fun and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Nate as a guitar teacher. He is awesome!

I have been taking lessons from Nate for about five years. He is a great guitar teacher. He is able to teach you the basics or the more advanced guitar skills. He is a professional musician and an established recording artist. Nate can also teach you songwriting if you have an interest. His music is aviailable on various forms of media including iTunes and Pandora.
Check out his music videos on YouTube. As a teacher he is patient and low key and tailors his lessons to the students interests. I have learned quite a bit and he is assisting me in getting my original songs recorded. You would be hard pressed to find a better "bargain" to improve as a musician and a songwriter. If you are more into learning "covers" he can teach you that too.
