Off The Wall School Of Music We offer the most competitive prices and the best value for any music school in Seattle. Roughly $25 per lesson in packages of 4. This past October we even lowered our prices for our regular students. We have the best teachers in Seattle. They are constantly training and taking classes themselves to stay on top. Teachers bring serious musical backgrounds as well as their positive energy to each lesson to make it fun and inspirational for students.

Each customized lesson requires preparation for the students, sometimes up to 30 minutes. Students get to pick a lot of the songs they play, which requires teachers to constantly learn new material or make new handouts to help students pick up skills.

I have had a fantastic experience with Off the Wall! I was searching for a piano teacher to expand my musical horizons - I have played brass instruments at a "strong amateur" level for many years, and wanted to learn keyboard to get better at theory and improvisation. My teacher Caleb was wonderful. He was quickly able to hone in on what I wanted out of lessons, and what I needed to do in order to get there, allowing me to set my own pace and giving me just the right level of direction, motivation and accountability. I am so much stronger musically as a result. Thanks Caleb, and thanks Off the Wall!

Off The Wall School Of Music is an awesome community to be in. All the teachers are so friendly. Your music life will change for the better. I had a bad experience in Middle School but it changed forever in Highschool. Most students don't like seeing this black and white they rather have color coded like i did from the last 5 years with being with the whole school. All the staffs are trying to spread by saying that we want our students to love music and maybe in a band. I want to thank my good friend Chris Marx.

This is heaven in a place. I have gone to camp here twice every year since I was eight and I can't express in words how magical this school is. It's amazing to be in a place where everyone is there to learn and have fun. It's obvious no one is there to hurt anyone. Everyone that works there is so fabulous I can't imagine a better place. If you can imagine this really doesn't sum up how amazingly awesome this school is. They have taught me to love music!

Our son loves loves loves loves loves loves this place for his music lessons (I even started taking lessons here with him after I saw how great they were). We've been attending lessons for about a year or so and also participated in the summer rock band camp this year. He had so much fun! Every day was playful and exciting for him. This business has definitely shaped my son's appreciation for music, and I know it'll be a memory in his heart he'll never forget.

We just started drumming and piano lessons for my kids and already they are learning so much! Super friendly, energetic teachers who are clearly passionate about music.

We signed the kids up for Rock Band Camp and they had such a great time and learned a lot. We'll be signing them up for individual lessons for the school year for sure!

Aggressive administration will bill you even when you follow their inflexible rules. i felt like i was talking to comcast. you cant call them to discuss it either, they MUST call you. also they won't excuse or reschedule a sick child with over 36hours notice. and the teacher says things like "email me if i forget to send your daughter the sheet music for the week." wha? that's my job? the parking is insane. the prices are higher than average. it's sad because its a cute place with mostly decent teachers. they are just running it like a large unforgiving psychopathic soulless corporation. all that for a 5th grader to learn how to play some basics? no thanks.

My daughter adores learning the ukulele here, it is her favorite part of the week. The teachers are informative, kind, and encouraging. My daughter has learned so much in such a short time.

This school has been very informative and understanding in consideration of my "deer in headlights" nature while exploring music lessons with my 4 1/2 year old. We have worked with both teacher Neal (ukulele) and teacher Chris (piano). They even lent us a keyboard to practice piano as well! It was so nice of them! Very open and understanding school overall.

My one small hang up is that I'm sort of old school and if I have a question, I want to be able to call and talk with someone on the fly. However, online inquiries and scheduling probably jives with a majority of people these days so all in all, it's probably not a pressing issue for most others! Thus. still a 5 star experience :) Thanks for everything guys! * * * * *

Currently taking voice lessons with Josh and he is FANTASTIC! It is obvious he has years of experience. Made me feel very comfortable right away and I have learned a ton! The price is also very reasonable and it is easy to change appointments.

My daughter has been taking lessons for two years from Chris. She is now 8 and can play a broad range of music from classical to jazz to current pop hits. She even writes music in her spare time! The lessons are fun, engaging and supportive of different learning styles. The staff is friendly and very helpful, always timely responses to emails! With the wide variety of instruments taught here and the personable staff, I highly recommend this place for lessons, no matter what your age. Thanks guys!

We both like the extras that add spice to the lessons like the drumming, improvisation, and historical/incidental tidbits about music that come up during the 1/2 hour that breezes by too quickly. We're glad we found Off the Wall. My son sits by the piano and comes up with really nice music on his own that was inspired from his lessons. My son looks up to his teacher as a role model and likes to share stories with his teacher about his week. I'd give this place six stars if I could.

My kid is 5 years old and loves taking lessons here! He can already read music and he's playing songs that are fun for HIM to play. I think this is the way to do it. When i was a kid I hated taking lessons. I don't want it to be like that for my kid! I've been playing piano for over 20 years now and I'm taking lessons again, I'm having a lot of fun. They have something for everyone, from beginner to advanced, all ages! Check it out!
