Paragon Studios was founded in 2004 by Deborah Loffredi. During its eight years, Paragon has become one of the city's most diverse and well-respected studios offering classes in Acting, Musical Theatre and Voice to all ages.

In addition, Paragon offers dialects coaching and workshops by industry leaders from both Pittsburgh and as far away as Los Angeles. Whether you are a high school student looking to hone your skills in anticipation of a career, an adult getting back into acting after a long hiatus or simply someone looking to have some fun, we have classes to suit your needs and instructors who know what to do!

Deborah Loffredi

Deborah Loffredi has built an extensive repertoire of directing, stage, TV, and movie credits. At the age of 15, she founded a musical theater showchoir, Musically Yours, which she led for the next five years, and over 500 performances, at locations all over the United States.

Laura Haley

Laura Haley is a graduate of the Randolph Academy for Performing Arts. She has an extensive performance history both in the United States and Canada. Favorite roles include: Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, April in Company and Maria in The Sound of Music.

Scott Metzger

Scott Metzger’s vocal training has led him to hundreds of solo, a capella ensemble, and choral performances throughout twenty-five of the United States, Canada and Europe. Mr. Metzger is also a trained dancer, having studied under such teachers as Svetlana Novodran, the former principal ballerina at the Odessa State Opera Ballet and the National Opera Ballet of Poland.
