Pianoforte Music School is dedicated to the discovery of each student's musical potential. The school is run by Archee Moffitt, offering individual and group music lessons to children and adults and is located in the Historic District of Monroe, CT, with a recording, teaching studio and a large room for recitals. The studio offers affordable group and individual music lessons in Piano, Keyboard, Voice, Guitar, Strings, Theory, Song Writing and Composition. Music lessons are for all ages, levels and styles. Lessons are offered in your home or at the Pianoforte Music School studio to students of the surrounding area including the Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven counties of Connecticut.

Archee has really helped us improve our voices and she's helped me gain confidence in my voice. She repetitively has told me to practice my solo in one of our songs and although I sometimes I get lazy over the week, I have realized that if I don't practice I won't get it perfect. I like how Archee has really cool recording equipment because it makes me feel professional and I really like singing and going to these lessons every week.

My son started lessons with Archee at the age of 4 and here we are 4 years later! Archee is a phenomenal teacher who goes above and beyond. She teaches to the whole person.taking learning style and personality into account. She has high expectations that my son drives himself to reach and he has an enriching, fun time doing so. Archee teaches way beyond the song on the sheet.
Her focus on technique, theory, and making the music musical have brought my son to such a high level of piano playing while having fun doing so! I cannot recommend Archee enough. Simply stated, superb.

Archee provides a very well rounded musical education. She is both meticulous and detail oriented. She teaches a technique that enhances the playing of musicians at any skill level, and gets the best possible sound from the piano. Archee is also very kind, and is interested in students lives beyond music. I have been a student with Archee for two years and have really enjoyed my experience.

When you have Archee as a music teacher, it's more than just learning the notes on a page. She helps you to understand the song better, so that you can play the piece to its full potential. Lessons are more than just a check-up on your progress; it is a musical process. I think I can safely say that my piano skills have lived up to the fullest with Archee as a piano teacher.
