Founded in 2007, we are a family-owned Central Mid-Town Phoenix location for private music lessons. Our instructors will teach you not only accurate pitch and rhythm, but also how to make the piece musical. This is whats not printed on the page but heard and appreciated by any listener. Please take a moment to learn more about our history and why we are the perfect choice for you!

We make a point to be for our students what we would want if seeking a service. We try our best to be flexible with lesson scheduling when it is needed. We also have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so as long as we know the day before your lesson that you are not able to come that week we can schedule a make-up lesson. If a make-up appointment is not possible we happily credit the next month for that lesson.

Cindy Baker

Violin, Viola, Fiddle And Harp

Cynthia Baker earned her Bachelor’s degree in music education and her Master’s degree in violin performance from Indiana University, where she studied violin and harp. She has been a member of the Phoenix and Grand Rapids Symphonies, and of the Sinfonia da Camera.

William Berge

Violin

William Berge is a native-born Minnesotan transplanted to the Southwest. He was a student of Herbert Greenberg, member of the Minnesota Orchestra, and Lea Foli, former concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra.

Mike Breen

Guitar And Banjo

Mike Breen began his musical career in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania playing guitar and singing bluegrass music with his best friend Kenny Thompson. After a few years at Penn State University, Mike moved to Phoenix, Arizona and immediately got a gig in a folk duo called ‘Smith and Breen’ performing at the Salt Cellar restaurant and bar.

Jennifer Leitch

Director

Jennifer Leitch is the Founder / Director of PMA. Originally from Texas, she moved to Arizona in 1995 where she completed her studies at Northern Arizona University, resulting in a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance.

Everyone is super kind and professional. The instructors are great with the kids. Any instrument your kid wants to play or any type of singing your kid wants to sing, they have instructors for it. Their prices are good and they'll work with your schedule. I definitely recommend this place.

Our family decided to take music lessons this year and we couldn't be happier with our choice to attend classes at Prestige! They were able to accommodate our busy schedule with work and school to fit us all in at the same time conveniently. I live right next to the academy and just stopped by to get some information. I quickly decided to take piano lessons and wasn't disappointed. The staff was nice and I signed in in less than 10 min. My teacher was wonderful and we were able to have classes online during Covid-19. The academy is able to pair you with the teacher that can match your needs and skills. 10/10 would recommend!

I been taken my son there for a while because I didn't know other place but now since I go to a different place I notice the different this place is way overprice! Also not all the teachers there aren't so good the envirement it's not so friendly is kinda cold I never saw any enthusiasm vibe from the instructor or any body there to play instruments or music this place is all about to make money. Boring place the owner is not so nice either she can't care less I decide to never go there again and no wasting my money there anymore.

Prestige Music Academy has been more than I even expected. First rate teachers and exceptional staff who do everything they can to accommodate even the busiest, most hectic family schedule. Recitals are held in an impressive performance hall that makes us proud to participate. I can't say enough good things about this business. They even have a place for kids to play who are waiting on siblings to have their lessons. They really thought things out and it shows. We plan on making this a long term commitment for our family.
