We are the largest music school located in the city of Rock Hill, SC. We are the only music school in the area that offers quality music instruction with the option to learn piano, guitar, voice and violin all in one place!! At SC Music Center we pride ourselves in offering the best music lessons in York County. Private music lessons are great for any student to start no matter their level of knowledge and skill ability. Private music lessons allow the student to build their musicianship skills at their own pace. Private music lessons are one-to-one guided instruction with a professional teacher who is an expert with that instrument.

Instructors will recommend and provide the materials and will construct the lesson to each individual student's goals and learning styles. Private lessons are weekly and are offered in increments of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. All students enrolled in private lessons will need an instrument to practice on at home. Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are the foundation of learning music, especially for beginners. The development of theory, note-reading, ear-training, rhythm, proper technique, and musicianship provide a comprehensive knowledge of music that can later be applied to any instrument and style of music. We start at ages 3 1/2 and up however most students begin at ages 4-5 for beginner private piano lessons as a longer attention span and the ability to retain information is becoming more natural at that age. Parents are encouraged to practice with their children to help encourage them and be their cheerleader as they learn to play the piano.
