CSMA has offered private music instruction for over 40 years. The CSMA music faculty is a group of highly trained and experienced performers and instructors. The music program has several types of instruction including private lessons, master classes, workshops, classes and ensembles.

The Kanack School of Music accepts students of any age. There are toddler classes, and twinkle classes which use the highly regarded Suzuki method for violin, viola, cello, and piano. Student drums are available to members for use during class time on a first- come, first-served basis. Most members purchase their own personal drum (s) once they have first had a chance to try several of the student drums.
