We are a revolutionary, new concept dedicated to helping people of all ages and skill levels achieve their modern music dreams. We develop an individualized plan for each music student with the goal of helping them learn to play the guitar, bass guitar, drums or piano as well as learning to sing. We then provide individual and band development as well as performance coaching to prepare our students to perform in public. From there, we organize and arrange performance opportunities in exciting modern venues to further develop individual and band performing skills and capabilities.
We believe that rock, pop and country music are as popular as ever and we want to help all of our students to play real modern songs as early as possible. We believe that playing enhances the enjoyment of music and motivates students to practice and to stay involved with music.

Under absolutely no circumstances should you trust your kids with these kinds of people. As a houston area musician/freelancer/teacher, I had an agreement to rent their spaces for masterclasses for my students. AFTER paying them the money for it, they "forgot" to reserve my room and gave it to someone else for one of the days. Still, i decided to continue along with the other day I rented.
This was a fatal mistake. The morning of, my students and i arrived, and there was no one there. I began to receive excuse after excuse (some of which were legitimate, to be honest, but some were not) about why no one could come open up the room for me when I had paid them MONTHS in advance to set this up. Ultimately, we cancelled the whole thing.
But not until after children were left outside without parents or any way to get in. Upon complaining, the manager Billy literally began to block my phone number as I demanded compensation. I attempted to contact the owner repeatedly, but was also ignored. Truly a disgusting business.

Worst customer service ever! If my son didn't enjoy his guitar teacher so much, I'd go back to Tallowood Academy of Fine Arts at Tallowood Baptist Church. We were there at Tallowood couple years ago and they definitely take the time to treat you like a person and work with you rather than here at Sessions. Been to Memorial Music to buy instruments and stings and people there seemed very personable too. Anywhere but Sessions!

My son (6) just started late February in the Little Rockers class and so far, he has been coming home and showing us the progress he has made. Luckily we have a keyboard at home so he practices the notes he is learning. I think it's excellent and hopefully he will want to continue with the experience.
