I approach the guitar from a classical standpoint, both in my own playing and with my students. Under my instruction, students learn sight reading, music theory, and ear training for contemporary music styles such as rock, blues, bluegrass, jazz and alternative. My current students are working on guitar pieces in a variety of styles; classical, flamenco, Spanish, blues, bluegrass, alternative, rock, and finger style.
