St Louis School Of Music These days, you have many options for music study, but what sets the St. Louis School of Music apart is the focus on quality musicianship. Its not merely about learning notes. All of our students have one-on-one instruction each week because we believe that individualized attention from an expert teacher is the only way to master an instrument. Not only do students learn proper technique in order to consistently produce a beautiful tone, they learn to pay attention to the details and how to make their own interpretative choices in the music. Our students gain a fulfilling mode of self-expression!

We are a private music school founded in 2004 to provide students in West County and the greater St. Louis area access to lessons with highly trained professional teachers. We believe that by emphasizing good technique and high quality musicianship students derive a great deal of joy and confidence in their music making. Our goal is to help every student learn to play beautifully through the development of proper healthy technique and individual creativity. We aim to educate the whole person through the study of music, to help cultivate generosity, persistence, independent thought, and patience, along with a wealth of other qualities and life skills.
