Stubbs' Music Center We are in our 42nd year of providing the best music education to the Tallahassee community and surrounding areas. Music is the only universal language that is available to us: therefore when it comes to choosing your students activities it is our hope that music education will be one of the activities that is chosen. Through music classes and private instruction this universal language will be taught by one of twenty professional music educators within the finest facilities available.

Music Education is a vital part of every person's life. We strive to prepare our students to reach his/her greatest potential and to become actively involved in the music that surrounds our lives.

Our reputation is built on the rigorous screening and careful selection of our faculty. We provide the highest quality, experienced professional faculty that are to be found in the area. The faculty of Stubbs' Music Center holds membership in many professional music organizations, which offer a variety of evaluative, performance and competitive experiences.

Kysten began reaching for Stubbs' Music Center in June of 2010. Kysten teaches our Jingle Jam classes as well as giving instruction in woodwind instruments.

Piano And Theory
Jeff Henry, a composer and Jazz pianist, is origianlly form Orlando, FL. He attended The College of Music at Florida State University and has a degree in Composition. He studied composition with John Boda and Ladislav Kubik. He studied piano with Leonidas Lipovetsky and Bill Petersen.

Shannon Stovall
Percussion
Shannon Stovall has been studying the percussive arts for the last sixteen uears. In that time he has been garnished with such honors as Florida All-state Percussionist, FSU Tri-state Percussion Principal, FSU Honors Chamber Winds Solo Percussionist, FSU Big 8 Drumline Section Leader, as well as Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps" Tenor-line Section Leader.

Martha Herring Stubbs is a native of Clavary, Georgia and came to Tallahassee in 1970. Matha is the founder, owner and President of Stubbs' Music Center. Mrs. Stubbs received her Bachelor of Music degree from Wesleyan College in church music with a major in organ and a minor in piano. She has been teaching for forty five years.
