I couldn't find a better music school to take my teenager to learn music theory and piano. Instructor Catalina has been amazing, very patient, friendly and a professional. Thank you for your great work and dedication to the students. Wishing you continued success!

My 12 year old daughter was introduced to the Royal Academy of Music (RCM) piano program, while we lived in Canada. We moved to South Florida a few years ago. To ensure that my daughter received the same level of piano teacher excellence, we researched many piano schools in South Florida within an 80 mile radius of Miami. We did find some schools that offered RCM level piano courses, and, we did try them out. However, as many other parents may have found out, we found many sub par piano RCM focussed schools and teachers, alongside, teachers with attitude and unpleasant personalities. However, it was not until we found the school, Superior Academy of Music, that we knew that we had found the perfect school, in terms of professionalism, personality, expertise and teaching excellence. SAM, Superior Academy of Music has, in our opinion, heart, soul and passion, from the teachers to the owners of the school.

Our daughter's teacher, as well as other teachers, and the owners, have always been in a happy, cordial mood. The atmosphere was very professional. Their level of expertise is top notch. They have regular recitals for all the students. They offer flexibility with their schedule and always allow for make up classes for student's missed classes, if any. The school, also serves as the 'Examination' center for yearly RCM exams. We highly recommend SAM, Superior Academy of Music, in South Florida as the perfect music school.

A professional space to develop musical skills. We have been a part of the school since 2016 and we love it. The instructors are versed in their craft patient, friendly and professional. The school has recitals at University of Miami, and the instructors provide multiple opportunities to have your family watch them perform across Miami. My 6 year old is in piano and our 3 year old will be starting violin soon. Highly recommended for those serious in development and instruction for Sight reading and learning instruments. Dr. LLupa is phenomenal with our son.

As an adult aspiring to learn the cello, I spent a great deal of time looking for cello teachers in the South Florida area. I had a private instructor before, but I was looking for something more stuctured. After finding SAM, I called the office to inquire about availability of a private instructor. Luckily, the teacher had a time slot open that fit perfectly with my work schedule.

I began lessons and almost immediate improvement. The cello instructor, Dr. Garritson, has been teacher for many years and knew how to instruct me as an adult. I enjoyed my lessons greatly, and the auto-debit system made payment hassle free. SAM itself is set up with many different sound proof rooms where lessons are occuring throughout the day. I never once was bothered by the piano/violin.guitar lessons going on around me. SAM is great if you can dedicate 30 min/1 hr per week on the same day for lessons.

If you are looking for flexibility is lessons times, this is not your place. However, if you want a set time slot with amazing teachers, then definitely give SAM a shot. The reasonw why I had to leave was because I could no longer dedicate a specific hour every week to my studies. They are more expensive than some of the other music schools around, but you get what you pay for.

I have been a student of the Superior Academy of Music for 4 years, and the teachers have taught me so much! In these four years, I had advanced from the bottom to Level 8 of the piano Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, and I am very pleased with the quality of the lessons. It is the only music school in Miami to offer RCM program assessments.

I have passed every level with First Class Honors and two certificates for the best score in the state. I would not have been able to accomplish this without the support and skills of the teachers at SAM. They are brilliant at what they do, and they teach quickly, which saved my parents' time and money. The certificates also offer additional prestige for those wishing to enter an advanced musical education in magnet schools or universities, or to add to their current curriculum vitae, and are accepted by all US universities. SAM offers a variety of private musical instrument lessons as well as ear training, music theory and history.

The school also hosts recitals so that students can practice their performance skills, as well as listen to other students and share their music. The facilities are clean and comfortable. I believe that SAM is the top music education provider in Dade County and would recommend it to everyone.

I sent both of my boys over their summer break to try out piano lessons. They were 4 and 5 years old. They did well and the instructors were very professional and caring. It is difficult to teach an instrument to active and easily distracted boys. They did a fantastic job and would return, but we moved to another city.

I have finally found the Music Academy that my daughter likes and enjoys attending. Not only are the teachers very experienced and dedicated, but we are also pleased that SAM's program incorporates The Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program and can give my child the guidelines and feedback opportunities for her to be ranked at the national level. We're glad we are treating with professional educators that are making it possible to develop my daughter's musical abilities.
