We have been providing quality guitar and bass lessons To Tempe, Ahwatukee, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert and Phoenix residents for over 12 years. We provide individual guitar lessons in all genres of music. Our instructors are professional musicians who LOVE to teach music. ALL of our instructors are hand-picked and have either earned a degree from a major university or are currently enrolled in a music degree program.

We provide weekly, individual guitar instruction tailored to each students needs. All levels of students are accepted from the rank beginner to the professional musician. Our basic lesson plan is one 1/2 hour session per week. All of our lessons are individual, one on one and tailored to the students needs.

Kurt Hauser

Kurt has taught over 10,000 guitar lessons in the last 10 years. He has taught students from 5-75 years old. Some of his students have included Walt Richardson, Greg Kerwin (Eyes Set To Kill), and members of the Arizona Cardinals. Kurt's students have been accepted into major university guitar programs.

Richard Merriman

Initially Richard was self taught, but in the mid 1990’s he became interested in studying classical guitar and enrolled at Mesa Community College to study with George Summers. Currently he is studying with Frank Koonce at ASU as he is wrapping up a degree in Classical Guitar Performance.

The Tonal Center is excellent! After buying my first acoustic/electric guitar from Guitar Center in 2004, I had asked the sales rep I bought the guitar from if he could recommend any guitar teachers in my area.
Kurt encourages questions in every lesson, and is always giving honest feedback to try to help me become a better player. I have met one of the other instructors there, Rich, and he's also incredible.
