Valley Conservatory We are one of the largest and most qualified teaching faculties in the TennesseeValley. Several of our instructors hold masters and doctorate degrees and all of our instructors hold either college degrees or performance equivalent experience in their field of expertise.

The warm, friendly faculty is graduates from some of the best conservatories and universities in the country and are not only dedicated to the musical development of the students, but will teach you the style of music that you want to learn from classical to jazz. We also provide opportunities for our students to participate in area competitions and adjudications.

<?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /> Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular to jazz music and are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. All of our piano teachers hold either a bachelor, master or doctorate degree in music and/or piano performance.
Violin/Viola

Our violin/viola teachers are very skilled and hold either, bachelor, masters or doctorate degrees in music or a minor in music. Our teachers implement various methods in their teaching style including Suzuki and the traditional conservatory style which incorporates scales, etudes, sight reading, and appropriate repertoire based on the students level and theory.
Cello/Bass

Guitar Lessons

<?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /> Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal country and classical guitar lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. In addition to weekly lessons, when applicable guitar students participate in recitals, Huntsville Study Music Club Junior Festival of the National Federation of Music Clubs and other various adjudications, competitions and festivals.

Dr. Beatrice Renee Collins-Williams, conductor/music educator/performer, is the founding director of the Valley Conservatory. She has taught music education courses on the primary, secondary, and collegiate levels.
