I founded the Vicki Citron Music Studio in 1988 to create a learning environment where students could develop a passion for music and experience the joy of making music with others. The studio is designed for students to become comfortable playing in front of others, and to work quietly on different projects while observing lessons in progress.

Committed to Suzuki education, Ms. Citron is past president of Suzuki MA, the Massachusetts Association of Suzuki Teachers and Families, and past director of Massachusetts Suzuki Festival.

Ms. Citron believes that teaching benefits from the thoughtful questioning and analysis of research, and has presented papers on computer assisted composition by young music students at professional conferences. She is a contributor to journals and magazines for string players and music teachers.
