Our guitar lessons cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Our ultimate aim is to get you playing music and having fun in the quickest possible time. Our experienced team has been teaching guitar, bass, and ukulele for several years and has launched many successful musicians.

Currently, we offer acoustic guitar, bass, and ukulele lessons exclusively in San Diego County. We provide one-on-one private lessons at our shop at $35 for a 30-minute session or $120 for four consecutive weeks of lessons. For those seeking professional lessons, we offer remote sessions with touring musician Jerry Cortez at $60 per hour.

Our lessons are suitable for students aged 11 years and above. For students under 18, a parent must be present during the lesson. Contact us today to schedule a lesson!

Initially stopped by last week to get an adapter for an amp, and some strings. The owners are great, they went out of their way to find precisely what I needed, and have earned my business for life. I've since returned to buy an acoustic bass, and I love it. Excellent store with a great selection of affordable instruments and gear run by awesome people. A hidden gem of local business. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely check them out.

I walked into the store to find a peg for my niece's guitar that I borrowed. Owner went the extra mile to try to find one that would fit. Although nothing was readily suitable he went out of his way to help me tune it so I could practice for a gig next day. While at the store I saw this beautiful guitar leather case, so unique and at a great price so I just bought it on the spot. I'm very impressed with tbe customer service and I encourage all my musician friends to come to El Cajon Guitars where they are very friendly to the musicians. They also have a nice unique selection of cajones and other percussion instruments.

This is a locally-owned guitar/music store. I walked in on a whim and was greeted by the owners, who spent a lot of time telling me about the various guitars and gear they have! They're super welcoming and accepting of all skill levels, which was nice since I'm a self-conscious guitarist . They also offer group lessons for a cheap price every so often. Additionally, they let you try out their merchandise. Overall, I'd totally recommend visiting and would probably return!

To start Frank and Maria's level of customer service is one of the things that will make many people come back. I haven't seen a store front on Main Street in El Cajon with this much passion in many years. Frank hung out with us for well over an hour and talked with us about anything and everything music related. They are revitalizing downtown El Cajon one very nice guitar at a time. So much more I could say about them and there shop but you will just have to go in and talk with them yourselves. Best of luck to you guys!

Purchased my beautiful guitar from the owners here. They were kind and considerate. Let me take my time trying out anything I wanted. When I heard this guitar's sound, I knew she was mine but I was enjoying my visit so much I lingered in the ambiance a while and enjoyed the company before I told them I'd take her. They moved heaven and earth (boxes and bins) to find a case that fit her since she is a traveling size, not full size.

I bought her months ago and still remembered fondly how well I was treated. I just had to come find them and make a point to let others know. Please go see them if you are interested in guitars, guitar anything.
