We offer private instruction for many instruments. Lessons are typically half-an-hour long, one per week, and are taught in the studios here at Hoover. The lessons are one-on-one, a perfect compliment to ensemble instruction.

Elizabeth Meisinger

Viola Instruction

She has taught public and private school music in the United States as well as abroad for over twenty years. She has studied, taught and performed throughout Western Europe and the Middle East.

Paul Stuart Reed

Clarinet Instruction

Mr. Reed received his B.M.E. from the Oberlin College Concervatory of Music in 1974 and his M.M.E. from West Virginia University at Morgantown in 1976. He has continued to study with prominent band conductors: Eugene Corporan (CCM), Craig Kirchoff (OSU), H. Robert Reynolds (U of M), Jack Williamson (MichStU) and Robert Cameron (Duquensne).

Andrew Bishko

Private Instruction In Flute, Saxophone, Piano

Mr. Bishko received a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. He was a member of the Alaska Klezmer Duo/Band, has recorded with Satta, and has performed with the International Reggae All-Stars. He studied under George Russell, Hankus Netsky, John McNeil, Joseph Maneri and Ran Blake.
