Report
We teach to students of all ages and experience levels. Though there are challenges in creating ensembles and programs with such a diverse student body, we pride ourselves on the tact we are able to maintain in making those decisions. We provide free practice space to all of our students, who participate in a rigorous, yet collaborative musical environment.

The vibe here is laid-back and professional. I know other adults must take classes here, but I never saw them. In any case, my instructor was patient with me, helpful, and totally put up with my wanting to learn Norah Jones songs. Perhaps even a bit more structure would have been nice, but in any case I got pretty good at playing some blues.

I was taking cello lessons at the School of Groove for a number of months. The people working the desk were always helpful and the instructor I was assigned to, Vanessa, was incredibly patient, competent and talented. I was very thankful that they were flexible with the lesson schedule and responded promptly to questions I had about payment and pricing.
