Choi Violin Studio The Choi Violin Studio is offering violin and viola students the opportunity to learn from our vast knowledge received from years of music conservatory training. Our goal is simply to develop key individuality and self-confidence while attaining a disciplined approach to music.

We are offering one-to-one violin and viola lessons to all levels age six to adult. Each student will have weekly lessons of 45 or 60 minutes. We offer adjusted teaching methods to each student's different goals and needs. In order for students to develop interests and a passion through their accomplishments, a regular practice schedule is required.

Walter Choi
Walter Choi
Walter Choi, born in Philadelphia, is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree of Music. As a scholarship recipient, he studied with Isidor Saslav (former concertmaster of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra), Shirley Givens, Earl Carlyss (former violinist of the Juilliard String Quartet), and members of the American String Quartet.

Chi-Li Yen
Chi-Li Yen was born in Taipei, Taiwan. Chi-Li began her viola studies at the age of 7. As a recipient of the Juilliard Alumni Scholarship, she received her Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Karen Tuttle and Kim Kashkashian.
