We believe in integrating technology in the music education process. GMG uses digital pianos, computers, digital music composition, MP3's and MIDI technology to enhance each student's understanding, creativity, and skills. The technology is used to supplement and enhance each child's learning experience.Our mission is to provide our students with a collegiate musical atmosphere at a young age in order to promote maximum musical growth. GMG is conveniently situated in Northeast Columbia down the street from Spring Valley High School.
We have adopted the best practices of music teaching studios, universities and both private and public schools to create its core curriculum, the GMG Music System. This allows students the opportunity to learn through sight-reading, ear training, music theory & history, technique, transcription, arranging, composition, improvisation, production and performance through the use of technology and quality instruction.

Summer Music Academy

The Summer Music Academy is the ultimate summer music experience! The SMA is more than a summer camp, it introduces beginner to advanced musicians ages 7-18 to recording, song-writing, and on-stage performance. Each young musician develops an understanding of the determination and dedication it takes to become a true performing musician. GMG Music Academy

The GMG Music Academy is available to students ages 7-18. Students have their choice of Piano, Vocal, Guitar or Drums. Let's be honest, learning to play a musical instrument is not the easiest choice of extra-curricular activities. It not only requires lesson participation, but also practice and lots of parent support. It is however one of the only activities that teaches a skill that can be used and enjoyed for a lifetime.
