David has 25 years of drum instructing. He is able to challenge drummers of all skill levels and all ages. David has a natural way of teaching your style of music by creating a learning atmosphere that is fun. David teaches various techniques including Moeller, Push/Pull, Double Bass, and Moeller approach for feet. David's prior students include John Kelley from the band A Change of Pace and Sean Garden from the band Trik Turner.

David Bedell,
David Bedell, aka David Small, professional drummer, instructor and recording artist, was born in Springfield, Missouri and began playing the drums when he was only 3 years of age. At age 7, David realized his calling and knew exactly what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. The desire and drive to become a professional musician was coursing through his veins! Influenced by those closest to him, David found inspiration in his great uncle and jazz musician Dave Bedell and his uncle Larry Bedell.

Mike Fix is an amazing, kind, versatile instructor and musician! My son loves the variety of music he's taught on a variety of instruments! He makes learning fun and has been my son's favorite teacher for over 3 years! Mike taps into my son's talents and has helped him grasp music concepts in his own awesome teaching style!

I can't say enough great things about Mike and his amazing talents and patience for teaching everyone from young kids to adults. His techniques are fun and easy to follow and he is consistent. He's flexible when our schedules change and extremely reasonable with pricing. We absolutely lucked out when our neighbor told us about him and we are forever grateful our kids began lessons with this master musician.
Not only are the kids jamming out and enjoying music, but they love their lessons and look forward to seeing Mike every week. His cleaning and attention to detail is one of the few things we maintained throughout this period of COVID and shutdowns. We thoroughly enjoy music with Mike and we think you will too! My son's 3rd instructor and by far the best! Absolutely great drummer and awesome with kids. My son's been drumming for a few years and was fairly proficient when he started with Mike. He's grown so much in the few months he's been here. I've been so impressed we started our 6 year old on piano with Mike too!
