Teaching music in a home studio is a tradition that has been practiced for hundreds of years. There are numerous examples throughout history that composers and instrumentalists who had a home teaching studio started their music lessons also in a home studio setting. There are important advantages of taking music lessons in a teacher's studio. Having the teacher all for himself/herself, a student would not need to adjust his learning speed according to other students' capabilities. That way the student would have a consistent learning experience without interruptions or pauses.I provide a cozy, fun and organized teaching studio where students feel comfortable and study for many years, in most cases, during their education. Every student starts a musical journey under my guidance when they first enter through my door so it is my part to provide a smooth and lifelong pathway.

Pianist Ipek Brooks, a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, has worked with students of varying ages, nationalities and levels for over 10 years and has taught over 100 students. After earning her Master’s Degree at Purchase College State University of New York, she became a faculty member at the same college where she taught college level keyboard studies for 2 years.
